  • Position Title: Meet and Assist Agent
    Location: Manchester Airport
    Employment Type: Part Time/Full Time

    Salary: £12.10 P/H

    About the Role:
    As a Meet and Assist Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and stress-free airport experience for travellers. Acting as a personal guide through the airport, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with navigation through key areas such as check-in, security, and immigration, and offer personalised support to passengers of all backgrounds, including VIPs, families, and those requiring extra assistance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Meet passengers at designated meeting points and provide a warm, professional welcome.

      • Assist travellers with check-in procedures, baggage drop, and security clearance.

      • Guide passengers through immigration, customs, and boarding gates, ensuring a smooth journey through the airport.

      • Provide assistance with special requests, including wheelchair services, family or child-related needs, or language support.

      • Coordinate with airport staff, airline representatives, and other service providers to resolve any issues and maintain a high standard of service.

      • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airport layouts, procedures, and policies to provide accurate guidance and information to passengers.

      • Deliver exemplary customer service, addressing any questions, concerns, or issues with professionalism and efficiency.

      Requirements:

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

      • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or the aviation industry is an advantage.

      • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

      • Fluency in English; additional languages are a strong advantage.

      • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

      • Professional appearance and demeanour.

      • Knowledge of airport procedures and operations is preferred but not required.

    As an Airline Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of airline services at the airport on behalf of our client. Acting as a liaison between the airline and airport teams, you will provide supervision and oversight to ensure compliance with airline standards, operational procedures, and customer service expectations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic airport environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and supervise ground handling activities, including passenger check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and aircraft turnaround operations.

    • Act as the primary on-site point of contact for airline representatives, airport staff, and third-party service providers.

    • Ensure all airline operations comply with established procedures, safety regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs).

    • Monitor and manage flight schedules, delays, and irregular operations, communicating updates to all relevant stakeholders.

    • Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections to verify service quality and compliance with airline standards.
